Rosario Resort & Spa is located on Orcas Island, 80 miles northwest of Seattle,
Washington and 95 miles southwest of Vancouver, British Columbia, in the San Juan
Islands of Washington State. The resort is situated on Cascade Bay, near the village
of Eastsound and is accessible by car ferry, boat, airplane, or seaplane.
The Washington State Ferry departs from Anacortes, WA and Sidney, British Columbia
(the Sidney ferry stops in Friday Harbor only, where a transfer needs to be made
to Orcas Island). Airplane service departs from Boeing Field
in Seattle, Bellingham or Anacortes. Shuttle service is available from SeaTac airport to Boeing Field and to departing seaplanes from Lake
Union in downtown Seattle.
Directions from SEA-TAC International Airport:
- From Sea-Tac Airport, travel north on Interstate
5 for about 90 minutes,
until you reach Burlington.
- Take exit 230, and travel west on Highway 20 to
Anacortes for 30 minutes.
- Follow the signs through Anacortes to the San Juan
Islands Ferry Terminal.
- Tell the ferry terminal ticket office you are going to "Orcas Island."
- Ferry fares are round trip, so you only pay once.

Arriving by Washington State Ferry (Auto Ferry):

Arriving by Walking on the Ferry:
Guests may park at the ferry landing in Anacortes (a fee is charged during the summer season) and walk on the ferry.
Please Note: Rosario Resort and Spa does not provide ground transportation to and from the ferry or airport. Guests must make arrangements for their own transportation. Arriving by Water Taxi:

Arriving by Private Boat:
Rosario Resort & Spa has a small, full-service marina with slips available to accommodate boats up to 130 feet in length. In addition to the slips in the Marina, the resort offers buoys on a first come, first served basis. Please visit our marina page for more information and reservations.
Arriving by Seaplane:
Kenmore Air offers daily seaplane service between Lake Union in Seattle, or Kenmore Air Harbor on Lake Washington, and Rosario Resort & Spa.
