ROSARIO TO OPEN GUEST ACCOMMODATIONS IN FEBRUARY

Rosario Resort on Orcas Island in Washington State’s San Juan Islands will open guest accommodations on weekends beginning Valentine's Day/President's Day Weekend. Nightly guest accommodations will be offered for the 2010 summer season beginning Memorial Day Weekend.  Rosario Resort's Bayside Rooms and the historic Roundhouse Suite are located at the water's edge overlooking Cascade Bay. For availability and rates beginning February 12 (weekends only) and nightly rates for the Summer 2010 season, please select an arrival date to the left, or call 800-562-8820, ext. 500.

As Rosario's new local family ownership plans the redevelopment and restoration of this historic hotel, we appreciate your patience as we offer limited services. PLEASE NOTE: the Moran Mansion Dining Room and Lounge are currently not open; however, Orcas Island offers wonderful dining alternatives.

The beautiful Moran Mansion Museum will reopen for public viewing on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. beginning February 13, with 4 p.m. Music Room concerts. The Rosario Marina remains open for nightly moorage with off-season moorage rates.

Rosario's beautiful waterfront grounds and facilities are available for memorable island weddings, receptions, meetings and events. For event inquiries, please email info@rosarioresort.com.

Additional accommodations in the Rosario area, featuring kitchen units and available nightly year 'round, can be found at neighboring Orcas Suites at Rosario and The Residences at Rosario. Please note these lodging establishments are under separate ownership and management and not part of Rosario Resort.

One hundred years ago Seattle Shipbuilder Robert Moran built Rosario with Arts and Crafts ideals in mind - time spent with family, a respect for nature and a return to quality hand craftsmanship lost in the industrial revolution. One hundred years later, San Juan County has approved the Rosario Resort Master Plan for redevelopment which preserves Moran's legacy and renews resort operations for the enjoyment of our community and visitors for Rosario's next one hundred years.
